MARENGO — Margaret R. Garlinger, 80, of Marengo passed away suddenly Oct.. 30, 2010, at Morrow County Hospital.

She was born May 17, 1930, in Columbus to the late John W. and Helen R. (Wilgus) Steck. She had worked as an assembler for Kilgore Manufacturing for 11 years and National Electric & Coil for 28 years. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters, Red Hat Society, Fargo Wesleyan Church; life member of American Legion Post 710 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survived by daughters, Karlene (Mike) Jordan and Freda (Doug) Clark; five grandsons; two great-grandsons; and sister, Connie R. (Ronald) Weikel. Preceded in death by husbands, Charles Garlinger, Tom Hoskinson, and the father of her children, Howard McKenzie.

Friends may call Tuesday, 4-7 p.m., DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Marengo United Methodist Church. Rev. Sue Antolik officiating. Burial will follow in Marengo Cemetery.
