MOUNT GILEAD — Harold Cole, 77, of County Road 90, Mount Gilead, passed away at his home on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010.
He was born June 20, 1933, in Morrow County to the late George and Faye (Huddlestun) Cole. Harold was a farmer, a carpenter for many years with Kokosing Construction, and loved pulling horses. He was a member of the Buckeye Horse Pullers Association.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 55 years, Peggy (Cheadle) Cole; two daughters, Suzy (Tony) Parks of Spencer and Becky (Jeff) Lang of Fredericktown; two sons, Mike (Jodi) Cole of Fredericktown and Bill (Debbie) Cole of Mount Vernon; 11 grandchildren, Todd Cole, Alan Troy, Samuel Cole, Sarah (Tommy) Howard, Nikki Rosario, Chris Cole, Kami Jarrez, Courtney Cole, Jessica (Jason) Stricker, Marley Lang and Kylie Lang; and three brothers, Carl, Vaughn and Wayne Cole, all of Cardington.
Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in North Woodbury on Friday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. The Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown is honored to have been chosen to serve the family of Harold Cole.
