MANSFIELD — Thomas E. Spaulding, 60, a husband, father, grandfather and brother who was loved beyond words, passed away peacefully Nov. 8, 2010. He was surrounded by his immediate family at home when he passed.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Linneman Spaulding; children, Nicole, Sarah, Ryan and Andrew (and wife, Robin) Spaulding; grandchildren, Abigail, Alexandra and Amelia Blunt and Xiola Spaulding; siblings, Robert Spaulding and Elaine Sprouse; and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Violet Spaulding.

Tom’s life was all about hard work and family values. He was the example of kindness, selflessness and graciousness to every life that he touched. Never a stranger, Tom worked in industrial sales for Cameron and developed many remaining relationships, not just with co-workers but customers. He was loved deeply by all those around him and will continue to be so but also sorely missed.

A memorial service to honor Tom’s love of music, stories and friends will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at the B&O Railroad Depot in Mount Vernon.
