HEATH — Roy David Fletcher, 57, of Heath, formerly of Sunbury, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at home after an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 19, 1952, in Columbus to the late Eugene and Emma Jean (Weaver) Fletcher. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked as a supervisor with Ohio Steel Fabricators, retiring after 30 years.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce (Hatfield); her three children whom he raised and considered his own, sons, Larry King and Jamie (Any) King, and daughter, Debbie (George) Eichhorn; three grandchildren; brother, Robert Fletcher; and sister, Gloria Miller.
Friends may call Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow with military honors provided by the Delaware County Veterans Association in Sunbury Memorial Park.
