SPRINGFIELD — Diane F. (Davidson) Paugh, 68, of Springfield, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, in her residence.
She was born Aug. 29, 1942, in Springfield, the daughter of Wilbur and Dorothy (Fearn) Davidson. She was a member of Maiden Lane Church of God, where she sang in the choir and helped with the youth group. She also loved being a part of the Living Christmas Tree program, cooking, being with family, and going shopping for her grandchildren.
Family survivors include her husband of nearly 50 years (Dec. 10) Richard H. Paugh; two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Walt Farlee, and Susan and Wade Grogg, all of Fredericktown; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff Paugh of Springfield, and Andy and Casey Paugh of Grand Lake, Colo.; sister, Janet (David) Jones of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two granddaughters, Abigail and Jolee; 10 grandsons, Chad, Curtis, Gavin, Colin James, Evan, Colin Michael, Jacob, Zachary, Brady and Luke; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Dorothy Davidson; and son, Jamie Paugh.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Maiden Lane Church of God, 1201 Maiden Lane, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mark Martin officiating. A service will be held Sunday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. at the Fredericktown United Methodist Church, 123 Columbus Road, Fredericktown. Private burial will follow in Forest Cemetery, Fredericktown.
