FREDERICKTOWN — David A. Wolfe, 62, of Columbus Road, Fredericktown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at The Ohio State University Medical Center.

He was born June 14, 1948, in Mount Vernon to the late Glenn and Dorothy (Storts) Wolfe. David was employed at American National Can for almost 32 years. He attended the Fredericktown United Methodist Church and was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. David was also in the Army Reserves and the Air National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Kavanagh) Wolfe; his son, Scott (Pam Goodman) Wolfe of Heath; his daughter, Mindi (Billy) Strouse of Newark; five grandchildren, Zack Wolfe, Mikhayla Wolfe, Gabrielle Wolfe, Rylynd Jewett, Tristyn Strouse; and his brother, Larry Wolfe of Mount Vernon.

Friends may call Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon. A service will follow beginning at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Keith Bohley officiating. Burial, with military honors provided by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council, will be held in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
