MOUNT VERNON — Judith A. Zolman, 71, of Mount Vernon, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at Mount Carmel West Hospital in Columbus.
Judith was born Jan. 20, 1939, in Newark to Clarence and Evelyn (Maggard) Kieber and was a graduate of Newark High School. She retired from Dana Corp. in Fredericktown. Judith was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Clinton Commandery 5 in Mount Vernon. She loved to play bingo and watch the cooking channel, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandkids.
Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Keith J. Zolman; her daughters, Vickie (Tim) Stokes and Sherry (Ed) Renicker, both of Newark, and Glendora Lord and Michelle (J J Kipp) Tanner, both of Mount Vernon; son, Dennis (Della) Murphy of Howard; stepdaughter, Mary Zolman of Mount Vernon; 13 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; her sister, Becky (Tom) Coakley of St. Louisville; brothers, Clarence “Bob” Kieber and Kenny (Carol) Kieber, both of Newark; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, Judith was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Kieber; son-in-law, Phillip F. Lord; and a grandson, Dennis “Pee Wee” Murphy.
Private services will be held at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon with Pastor William Fulda officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
