SUNBURY — Melvin L. “Mel” Mantor, 71, of Sunbury, formerly of Columbus, died Sunday morning, Nov. 21, 2010, at St. Ann’s Hospital, Westerville.
He was born Jan. 30, 1939, in Ostrander to the late Clarence and Ruth (Patrick) Mantor. A U.S. Air Force veteran, member of the American Legion in Apache Junction, Ariz., and Glenwood United Methodist Church in Columbus. He was a retired transportation supervisor for International Harvester in Columbus.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Wanda Walker Mantor; son, Michael Mantor, of Columbus; daughter, Lori Mantor, of Columbus; grandchildren, Justina, Amanda, Mitchell, Kaylan; and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by brothers, Gerald and Clarence Jr.
