NEWARK — A funeral service for Clyde Kyle, 76, of Newark, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Roger Crego officiating. Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery.
Mr. Kyle was born May 2, 1934, at the home, in Edison, Ohio, Morrow County, to the late Dale and Treva (Miller) Kyle. He was a member, past president and vice president of NARFE; member of AFGE, vice president of AFGE retiree club; member of Public Employee Retirees Inc.; Mason, Licking Lodge 291 and Glenwood Chapter 303. He retired from the Newark Air Force Base and Franklin Township zoning inspector. He was an avid sports fan of football, baseball and basketball, and working in his wood shop. He was a 1952 graduate of Homer High School.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Charlotte (Treherne) Kyle, whom he married May 10, 1975; children, Ann (Harold) Cochran of Centerburg, Clyde F. “Skip” (Vikki) Kyle of Dewey, Ariz., David Kyle of Utica, Brad (Roevene) Kyle of Utica, Karen (James) Holmes of Mount Vernon, Debra (Bruce) Parrish of Newark and Kenneth (Melissa) Johnson of Newark; sister, Janet (Richard) Hall; brothers, Dick (Lee) Kyle, Gerald (Linda) Kyle and Larry (Linda) Kyle; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.
