ST. LOUISVILLE — A memorial service for Betty June (Hatten) Pletcher, 78, of St. Louisville, will be held Friday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, with the Rev. Roger Nichols officiating. Inurnment will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Pletcher was born July 31, 1932, in Kenova, W.Va., to the late Amos and Pearl (Salyers) Hatten. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles Pletcher. She was a member of the St. Louisville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, gardening and cooking. She was very outgoing and her life revolved around her family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, Steve Pletcher of Fredericktown, Fred (Jill) Pletcher of Newark; two daughters, Kathy (Steve) Robinson of St. Louisville, Rebecca Wollard of Grove City; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Bob, Jack, Mike and Russell Hatten; two sisters, Anna Jean Bush and Fannie Looney.

Friends may call Friday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
