SUNBURY — Kenneth W. Owen, 95, of Sunbury, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at St. Ann’s Hospital, Westerville, after a long illness.

He was born Dec. 8, 1914, in Kingston Township to the late Milo Lemley and Imo Bell (Huddlestun) Owen. A retired roaster for the former Nestles Co. in Sunbury with 43 years of service.

Survived by daughters, Karen Owen of Sunbury, Anita (Kenneth) Slagle of Columbus; sons, Roger and Warren Owen, both of Sunbury; grandchildren, Lisa, Stacey, Sabrina; great-grandchild, Anthony.

Preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy (Perry) Owen, on April 5, 2002; granddaughter, Stephanie Slagle; brother, Marion “Rudy” Owen; sister, Margaret Louise Wortz.

Friends may call Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Sunbury Memorial Park.
