ST. LOUISVILLE — A funeral service for Mary “Lois” Gayheart, 77, of St. Louisville, will be held Sunday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, with Pastor Jerry Owens. Burial will follow in Eden Cemetery.
Mrs. Gayheart passed away Nov. 24, 2010, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born March 24, 1933, in Lavonia, Ga., to the late William and Katie (Durham) Willis.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Jerry) Casebolt of Walhonding, Peggy Gayheart of St. Louisville and Dora (Joe) Kieber of St. Louisville; grandchildren, Becky, Jim, Cody, Brady and Caden; great-grandchildren, Alex, Quentin, Brody and Caylynn; sisters, Mozelle Gayheart, Estelle Crunkleton and Lorene Rider; and brothers, Milford, Marvin and Ray Willis.
Mrs. Gayheart loved playing with her great-grandkids and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harry Gayheart; one sister; and four brothers.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
