ZANESVILLE — A funeral service for Donald K. Dean, 69, of Zanesville, will be Thursday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Dupler officiating. Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery. Donald died Nov. 27, 2010, at his residence.
He was born March 15, 1941, in Newark, to the late Kenneth S. and B. Irene (Popham) Dean. He was formerly employed by Chattanooga Glass, Mount Vernon. Don was an avid NASCAR fan, a fisherman and he enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Patty Nussbaum of Wooster; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Scott Hardesty of Zanesville, Robin and Robert Hardesty of Fort Lewis, Wash., Racheal Dean-Nussbaum of Fort Lewis, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; brother, Daniel K. Dean of Utica; sisters, Julia A. O’Hara of Newark, Linda (E.W.) Brown of Mount Vernon, Mary E. VanWy and Betsy J. Hood, both of Utica.
Friends may call Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.
