SHELBY — Anne M. (Peck) James, 42, of Shelby and formerly of Fredericktown, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at MedCentral Hospital in Shelby.
Anne was born May 29, 1968, in Mount Vernon, was a 1986 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and earned her associate degree in criminology from the North Central Technical College in Mansfield. She had been employed at Al’s Place in Butler.
Surviving are her sons, Justin Klein and Dale Klein, both of Marion; her mother, Diane Peck of Marion; her father and stepmother, Leslie and Margaret Peck of Richwood; her sister, Jodi (Danny) Douglas of Marion; nephews, Cole Shelton and Ethan Douglas; stepbrother, David VanBrimmer of Alabama; stepsisters, Julie VanBrimmer of Bellefontaine and Shelia VanBrimmer of Marysville; her boyfriend, Michael Kissel of Shelby; and her canine companion, Snickers.
Anne was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald and Alice VanHouten, Bascom Peck and Marie Barrick.
Friends may call Friday, Dec. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home, 33 E. College St., Fredericktown. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sue Antolik officiating. Private burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
