WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — Richard Todd Bibart, 43, of Westborough, Mass., formally of Newark, Ohio, passed away Nov. 18, 2010.
He was born Jan. 28, 1967, to Sandy (Leslie) Bibart. Todd graduated from Newark High School in 1985 and attended Wittenberg University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry, and was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Todd went on to earn his master’s and Ph.D. in chemistry from Stanford University. He also did two years of postgraduate work at The Ohio State University and was an avid OSU Buckeye fan. Todd was most recently employed by Momenta Pharmaceuticals in Boston, Mass.
Todd is survived by his children, Meghan and Joseph; sister, Leslie Bibart; nephew, Stone; his paternal grandmother, Juanita Bibart of Howard; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Sandy; maternal grandparents, Harold and Bonnilee (Priest) Leslie; and paternal grandfather, John Bibart Sr.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon. A private inurnment will be held in the Wilson Cemetery near Newark.
