RICHLAND, Ga. — Ralph Bernard Colopy, 68, of Richland, Ga., died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at The Medical Center, Columbus, Ga.

Memorial services will be Thursday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, Ga., with the Rev. Father Scott Winchel officiating.

Mr. Colopy was born June 26, 1942, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, son of the late Bernard Colopy and Sylvia Worthington Colopy. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Intermet as a tool and die maker. Mr. Colopy was Catholic by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Colopy of Richland, Ga.; daughters, Shannon Snyder (Paul) of Talbotton, Ga., and Rhonda Bedard (Dave) of Seneca, S.C.; sons, Shane Colopy of Richland, Ga., and Brandon Colopy (Lindsey) of Phenix City, Ala.; brother, Hugh Colopy of Danville, Ohio; sister, Dianne Ridgeway (Tom) of Danville, Ohio; grandchildren, Wrenn Bedard, Mary Bedard, Grayson Bedard, Kendall Bedard, Gavin Colopy, Brody Colopy and Stella Colopy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Vista Care Hospice, 100 Brookstone Center Parkway, Columbus, GA 31904.
