HOWARD — Anna Belle Eing, 85, of Howard, passed away unexpectedly at her residence Dec. 10, 2010.
She was born July 7, 1925, in Belpre and was the daughter to the late Harvey James and Lillian Estella (Wingrove) Carsey. Anna Belle was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville. She retired in 1980 from Western Electric Company. She was a member of the Apple Valley singers and was the recipient of volunteer of the year award for three years in the 1980s.
She is survived by her son, Jeff (Janet) Eing of Howard; her daughter, Sandy (Kenny) Baker of Columbus; three brothers, James (Evie) Carsey of Marysville, Jack (Joyce) Carsey and Joe (Louise) Carsey, both of Gahanna; two sisters, Doris Sanders of Lancaster and Shirley (Mike) Lowry of Gahanna; three grandchildren, Kathy Sams, Karen Fullen and John Eing; and six great-grandchildren, Sarah, Jason, Skyler, Walker, Reagen and Tori; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Carol Hall and Gloria Bulwinkle.
Anna Belle was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Eing; a brother, Eugene Carsey; and a close friend, Earl Carson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville with the Rev. Father F. Richard Snoke as celebrant. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Mifflin Township Cemetery in Gahanna. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is handling the funeral arrangements for the Anna Belle Eing family.
