LIMA — Diane E. Cameron, 66, died at 11:41 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2010, at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born Jan. 24, 1944, in Mansfield to Arthur F. and Margaret L. Stahlheber Baumberger. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Fredericktown. On Aug. 8, 1964, in Fredericktown, she married Michael L. Cameron, who survives in Lima. They were high school sweethearts who were married for 46 years.

Mrs. Cameron retired as a secretary from Cameron Packaging Co. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, bird-watching, listening to music, solving crossword puzzles and playing computer games. She loved traveling, and Las Vegas and Arizona were her favorite destinations. She was a 1962 graduate of Fredericktown High School and attended The Ohio State University.

Survivors also include a daughter, Bridget D. Cribben, of Lima; a son, Michael A. (Jennifer) Cameron, of Culbertson, Mont.; five grandchildren, Mackenzie Cameron, Grace Cameron, Kennedee Cameron, Jennessa Hoenjet and Kyle Cribben; two sisters, Kay Neffenger, of Dublin, and Nancy Saul, of Westerville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Baumberger; and her beloved dog, Spike.

Private services will be held at a later date. Her cremains will be scattered according to her wishes.
