MOUNT VERNON — Peggy Woolison, 62, of Mount Vernon, passed away of an extended illness on Dec. 18, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born on March 27, 1948, in Ingham County, Mich. Peggy graduated from Fredericktown High School as salutatorian in 1966. She was an excellent seamstress; who enjoyed her needlework and sewing.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Woolison, and her granddaughter, Alexis Woolison, both of Dublin; her brothers and sisters, Judy (Frank) Upp of Lancaster, Dan (Blanca) Bevington of Tempe, Ariz., Richard Bevington of Mountain View, Ark., Ken (Cindy) Bevington of Mount Vernon, Ernie Bevington of Howard and Mary (Larry) Clay of Olive Hill, Ky.; her mother, Jeanne Bevington of Howard; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Peggy’s father, Dwight “Ernie” Bevington, preceded her in death.

There will be no calling hours A graveside memorial service is being planned at Union Grove Cemetery in Gambier at a later date and will be announced. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is handling the funeral arrangements for the Woolison family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Peggy’s name.
