HARRISBURG, Pa. — Martha B. Kohl, 95, of Harrisburg, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at Harrisburg Hospital.

She was born in Danville, Ohio, on Dec. 15, 1915, to the late Oliver J. and Emma M. (Snively) Beck. She was a member of the Market Square Presbyterian Church where in her earlier days she was a deacon and Sunday school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan S. Kohl Jr.; her two sisters, Mae Drumm and Ruth Church; and her granddaughter, Anita Walton.

Surviving are her two sons, Oliver Kohl of Harrisburg, Pa., and Peter Kohl of Danville, Ohio; three daughters, Barbara Marsh of Berkeley Spring, W.Va., and Emma Miller and Marguerite Kohl, both of Harrisburg, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 20177 Wooster Road, Danville. Pastor Tom Heil will be officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Arrangements by the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut St., Harrisburg, Pa.
