BUTLER — Simon I. Raber, 11-year-old son of Ivan and Martha (Miller) Raber, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, in Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, following injuries from a riding accident on Dec. 24.

He was born April 9, 1999.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by five younger brothers, Jacob, Daniel, David, Joseph and John Raber; paternal grandparents, Roman and Edna Raber of Butler; maternal grandparents, Abe and Erma Miller of Loudonville; and a great-grandparent, Eli Yoder of Millersburg.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 9 a.m. at the Dennis Yoder residence, 20976 Nunda Road, Butler, with Bishop Nelson Kauffman officiating. Burial will follow in Yoder Cemetery in Knox County. Calling hours are all day today. The Bellville Snyder Funeral Home is serving the family.
