UTICA — A funeral service for Erma B. Morris, 83, of Utica, will be held Friday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m., at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Keith Malone, Craig Davis and Andrew Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Silent Home Cemetery, Reynoldsburg.
Erma died Jan. 4, 2011, at Centerburg Pointe. She was born July 24, 1927, in Wagram, Franklin County, to the late George L. and Annie J. (Myers) Link. Erma was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ, Utica. She worked during the war years at the Army Depot, Columbus, and worked several years at Watts Restaurant, Utica.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Terrie Morris of Utica and Ronald Morris of Tennessee, John and Diane Morris of Roseville, David Morris of Newark, Jim and Amanda Morris of Columbus; daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Jay Johnson of Roseville and Catherine Wartenbee of Zanesville; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Minkus of Columbus; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call Thursday, Jan. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.
