MOUNT VERNON — Margie T. Fadler, 72, of Yauger Road, Mount Vernon, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at the Country Club Retirement Campus.

She was born April 25, 1938, in Houma, La., to the late Loveless and Edna Dupre. Margie was employed as a dietician for Sainte Genevieve Memorial Hospital. She was treasurer of D.O.E.R’s Ham Radio Club, a member of Sainte Genevieve Catholic Church in Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and a life member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son, Jory (Cathy) Authement of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, Darren, Ashley, Natasha, Brianna; and a sister, Barbara (Buddy) Stringer of Houma, La.

Besides her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Authement; and her second husband, Ray Fadler.

There will be no calling hours. The family will have a graveside service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo., at a date to be announced.

The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to have been chosen to serve the family of Margie T. Fadler.
