CITRUS SPRINGS, Fla. — The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Carroll “Lee” Feasel, 72, of Citrus Springs, Fla., formerly of Mount Vernon, Ohio, will be held Saturday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Gay Street Methodist Church. Mr. Feasel was born Sept. 8, 1938, in Harlen Township, Ohio, son of the late Harold and Eva (Carroll) Feasel Sr. He died Jan. 9, 2011, in Inverness, Fla. Mr. Feasel was a Navy veteran and worked as a sign painter for a number of grocery stores. He moved to Citrus Springs, Fla., from Mount Vernon, Ohio, 10 years ago. His hobbies included bowling, painting and swimming. He was an avid reader of the Bible and a member of the Crystal River United Methodist Church.
Mr. Feasel was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Ruth D. Feasel of Citrus Springs, Fla.; daughter, Linda (Floyd) Eisenhart of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Harold (Mary Jo) Feasel Jr. of Ohio; aunt, Marjorie Curry of Ohio; two granddaughters, Tammy Coolidge and Trixie Belew; six great-grandchildren, Brittany, Brooke, Caleb, Jacob, Abigail and Matthew; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.
