MOUNT VERNON — Shirley A. Blythe, 55, our beloved one, went to be with the Lord, Sunday morning, Jan. 16, 2011, at Whispering Hills Care Center.

She was born May 23, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Vestel H. and Dessie W. (Johnson) Marlow. Shirley loved to fish, hunt and do crafts.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Billy J. Blythe; loving son, Melvin Ray Fiske; stepfather, William D. Gregg; sisters, Sheila, Denise, Vicki, Dorothy, Louise, Theresa, Pat, Bernadine; brother, Claude; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry, Jimmy, Robert; and sister, Joy.

Shirley will be remembered most for her kindness, compassion and willingness to help those in need.

A church service will be held Saturday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. at the Foursquare Church, 509 N. Main St., Mount Vernon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Foursquare Church. Shirley, may eternal light shine upon you.
