ORANGE PARK, Fla. — James Keith Oliver Jr. passed away Jan. 19, 2011, at 4:30 a.m. in the Orange Park Medical Center at the age of 80.
He was born to James Keith and Doris Oliver on July 28, 1930, in Centerburg, Ohio. He joined the Navy on Sept. 18, 1951, and received an honorable discharge on Oct. 21, 1953. He married Phyllis Haire on Sept. 1, 1962, and they divorced on Nov. 3, 1992. Keith was a farming real estate broker and retired in 2002. He became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on May 21, 1968, when he joined the Englewood, Fla., Lodge No. 1933. Keith came to Moosehaven on June 6, 2007, where he resided for 3 1/2 years.
He is survived by a brother, Jerry Oliver of Culver City, Calif.; nephew, Anthony W. Oliver of Danville, Ohio; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
Direct cremation took place with ashes spread on the St. John River.
