SPARTA — Lewis Glenn Ward, 4-month-old beloved infant son of Matthew and Carrie (Blake) Ward of Sparta, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Mount Vernon.

He was born Sept. 17, 2010, in Westerville. Always happy and with a cooing smile, he was a good-natured little boy.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by sister, Liberty; brother, Lincoln; grandparents, Glenn and Cathy Blake, Stanley and Lucinda Ward; great-grandparents, Jack (Marilyn) Smith, Dick (Katy) Curley, Harvey (VerDeal) Blake, Marilyn Ward; and extended family.

Friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Sunbury Church of the Nazarene, 830 Ohio 61, Sunbury, where funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mike Bean officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery near Sparta. Arrangements by DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury.
