MOUNT VERNON — Annabel Robbins, 88, of Ames Street, Mount Vernon, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born Sept. 20, 1922, to the late George and Mabel (Oldaker) White.

Annabel is survived by her daughter, Dixie Robertson of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, George Robertson, Sonya Stephenson, Curtis Robbins Jr. and Richard Robbins; and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Annabel was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Robbins; her son, Curtis Robbins; three brothers, Dwight, Wayne and Dean White; and her sister, Irene Clippinger.

There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private graveside service in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Annabel Robbins.
