MOUNT VERNON — Mary F. Keller, 66, of Mount Vernon, died Jan. 28, 2011, at Knox Community Hospital.
She was born July 25, 1944, in Mount Vernon to Arthur and Catherine Gardner. Mary was a member of the Rocky Fork Church of Christ in Newark. She was a 49-year employee of Rolls-Royce as an executive secretary. Mary was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Gardening Club and was a big supporter for the Rally for the Cure.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Dale) Modesitt of Fallsburg; grandson, Michael Alan (Sherry) Maharg of Mount Vernon; granddaughter, Mary Pauline (Jason Henley) Modesitt of Buena Vista, Va.; four great-grandchildren, Kylie, Wade, Aaron and Joseph; a niece, Kathy (Ronnie) Houck of Marengo; nephew, Scott Mortiner; a great-niece and nephew, Kaitlyn and Dirk.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse Dale Keller in 2008; and a sister, Leorna Gerrald.
Friends may call today, Jan. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home, 212 N. Main St., Mount Vernon. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rocky Fork Church of Christ, 12969 Techniglass Road, Newark, with Minister Cory Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Fork Cemetery.
