FREDERICKTOWN — Ronald R. Woolison, 64, of Old Mansfield Road, Fredericktown, passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at his home.
He was born Nov. 17, 1946, in Mount Vernon to the late Paul and Gladys Marie (Wolford) Woolison. Ron served in the U.S. Army following graduation and retired in 2010 after 22 years of employment with Rolls-Royce in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by a son, Jeff (Angela) Mizer of Fredericktown; a daughter, Tika (John Masters) Woolison of Mount Vernon; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn (Charles) Laymon of Gambier.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call Monday, Feb. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon. A graveside service with military honors provided by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Union Grove Cemetery in Gambier.
