AMITY — Travis E. Eberhardt, 47, of Amity died at his mother’s home on Thursday evening, Feb. 17, 2011.

He was born May 8, 1963, in Mount Vernon, a son of Marilyn (Conkle) Frazee and the late David T. Eberhardt. Travis was a carpenter and construction worker. He attended the Amity Baptist Church. Travis was an avid Ohio State and Minnesota Vikings fan, and enjoyed spending time with his many friends.

In addition to his mother, Travis is survived by his daughters, Jade and Kiley Eberhardt of Mount Vernon; his twin sister, Trudy (Tracy) Deakins of Amity; a niece, Brook Deakins; a nephew, Nolan Deakins; a stepbrother, David “Tommy” Eberhardt of Apple Valley; and a stepsister, Shirley Eberhardt of Mount Vernon.

In following with Travis’ request, private inurnment will be held at a later date in Amity Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with Travis’ funeral expense or to a trust fund being set up at First-Knox National Bank in Mount Vernon for the education of Kiley. Also the family asks that donations can go to the Mount Vernon Salvation Army for the food pantry.
