MANSFIELD — Howard F. Russell, 90, of Mansfield died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 in Oak Grove Manor.
He was born Feb. 21, 1920, in Mount Carmel, Ind., to Glenn and Miriam (Fletcher) Russell. A World War II Navy veteran, Howard worked 33 years with Artesian Industries.
Surviving are his son, James (Marsha) Russell; daughter, Mary Frances Stake; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Briner Russell; and his son-in-law, Les Stake.
Friends may call Friday, Feb. 26, from 5-7 p.m. in Finefrock Chapel of Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, 350 Marion Ave., where Masonic memorial rites will follow at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Trinity United Methodist Church, 1592 Grace St., with the Rev. Robert Stull officiating. Burial in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
