MOUNT VERNON — A graveside service for Wallace Steven Fields, 48, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Utica, will be held Friday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. at Bell Cemetery, with Bruce Hissong and Jason Harding officiating.

Steve died Feb. 21, 2011, at his residence. He was born May 14, 1962, in Mount Vernon to the late George P. and Virginia M. (VanDyke) Fields. Steve was a 1981 graduate of Utica High School.

He is survived by his half brother, Billy Dean Fields of Georgia; half sister, Glenna Kay (Fields) Cardin of Florida; “best cousin of mine,” Ann Thomas of Howard; aunt, Beulah Dye of Virginia; and many loving cousins.

Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica, is assisting the family with arrangements.
