MANSFIELD — David W. Gray Sr., 80, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday morning, Feb. 22, 2011, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.

Born June 25, 1930, in Salina, Pa., Mr. Gray served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. A professional disc jockey, Dave worked at several stations, most notably WCLW of Mansfield and WTTF of Tiffin. While at WCLW Dave hosted “Party-Line” a call-in talk show, one of the first of its kind. After he left radio, Dave handled sales at Mansfield’s Maytag store.

He is survived by his son, David W. Jr. and Rosario Gray of Largo, Fla.; his son, Ted Gray of West Dover, Vt.; and a granddaughter, Madelaine Quinto, also of Largo.

The Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gray family with compassionate cremation services. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery near Rittman. Private condolences to the family may be made online at www.snyderfuneralhomes.com.
