CRESTLINE — Charles E. Myers, 79, of Crestline, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at home following an extended illness.

Born in Galion on Oct. 21, 1931, to the late Arthur and Hazel (Swank) Myers. He served in the Marine Corps and retired from Ford’s Sandusky plant.

Survived by his wife, Rose Helen Myers; his children, Michael Myers, Deborah Hirtz, Sharon Myers of Mount Vernon, Kenneth Myers, Kathryn Dorantes, Chuck Myers, Timothy Myers and Mark Myers; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Oyster and Betty Shade; sister-in-law, Mary Louise Myers; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Camille Myers; and brothers, James and Robert Myers.

Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Karin Wright will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
