DANVILLE — Lonnie W. Brady Jr., 35, passed away unexpectedly at his home March 2, 2011.

Lonnie was born Nov. 7, 1975, in Mount Vernon to Lonnie W. and Dora M. (Weaver) Brady Sr. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed the family vacation, and mushroom hunting in Michigan.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Brady; sons, Jessie, Justus, Lewis and Lucas, of the home; his father, Lonnie Brady Sr., and stepmom, Marty, of Minerva; brother, Joshua T. (Brandi) Brady; nephew, Joshy, and niece, Elena Maye Brady of Minerva; grandma, Mary Ball (Junior) Carter; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his mother, Dora May Brady; sister, Wilma Lee Brady; grandfather, Rondel R. Brady; grandpa, Ike Ball; and cousin, Chad Brady Sr.

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 7, at 1 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Sheila Kent will officiate. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.
