AUSTIN, Texas — Jeffrey D. Lenkei, 42, of Austin, Texas, lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on March 3, 2011.

Jeff was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to Karen and Bela Lenkei on April 28, 1968. Jeffrey graduated from Ohio University. His passion for poker and roulette is legendary. He has been living in Austin fulfilling his lifelong dream of being a professional poker player. Jeff lived life to the fullest. His quick wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; stepchildren, Morgan Haupt and Ross Camblit; his father, Bela; his sister, Christine (Lance); brother, Andrew (Kim); two nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen. He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 9, at 6 p.m. at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin.
