MANSFIELD — Betty J. Greenawalt, 81, of Mansfield died March 7, 2011, in Mansfield MedCentral.

She was born April 4, 1929, in rural Bellville to the late Alvie and Ethel (Amsbaugh) Shrader and graduated from Bellville High School in 1947. Betty worked at Tappan Co. for eight years, and was the cafeteria supervisor at Ontario Middle School for 25 years before retiring in 1989.

Surviving are husband of 55 years, Glenn Greenawalt; daughter, Melinda Farnsworth; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Patricia Franz, Robert Shrader, Joyce Reamsnider, Linda Squires, Judy Utter, Donna Leapold, Dora Vermillion and Richard Shrader; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Leota and Virgil Rader; and a great number of nieces, nephews, cousins.

Also deceased are numerous aunts and uncles.

Friends may call Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. A family friend, Sandy Hall, will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery. Full obituary at
