BELLVILLE — Randall “Dude” Oswalt, 47, died March 6, 2011, in Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon.

Born April 22, 1963, to Royd and Betty (Darr) Oswalt, he was one of eight children. While a teenager Dude began working construction, and was a member of the 1216 Local Labor Union.

Randall is survived by wife, Pamela (Weikle) Oswalt; sons, Keith and Kyle Oswalt, of Bellville; grandson, Kale Oswalt, and another grandchild on the way; his mother; brothers and sisters, Nancy (Jerry) Partin, Raymond “Nick” (Deb) Oswalt, Jean (Mike) Thompson, Robert Oswalt, Roger (Sheila) Oswalt; numerous nieces, nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded by brother, Ronald “Pete” Oswalt; sister, Linda Yarger.

Calling hours will be Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., in Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where his funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery. For full obituary go to
