IBERIA — Ronald K. Thomas, 50, of 3834 State Route 309, Iberia, passed away suddenly Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Morrow County Hospital, Mount Gilead.
Ron was born in Mount Vernon on April 3, 1960, to the late Gerald Thomas and Roxina (Ridenour) Thomas of Mount Vernon, who survives. He married Krista L. Justice on July 2, 1995, and she also survives him. Ron owned and operated Thomas Construction. He loved his 1972 Chevy trucks and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his three sons and daughter, Gerald “Jerry” Keith (Sara) Thomas of Delaware, Ronald Keith Thomas II of Iberia, Rylee Kaye Thomas of Iberia and Ryland Keith Thomas of Iberia; two sisters, Cheryl (Chuck) Gamble and Lydia (Mark) Peakovic, all of Mount Vernon; a brother, Glen Thomas of Newark; his mother-in-law, Nancy Justice of Iberia; father-in-law, Alvin “Gene” Thomas of Bucyrus; two sisters-in-law, Tamila “Tam” Thomas of Galion and Mary (Keith) Meadows of Mount Gilead; three brothers-in-law, Rondall (Lauri) Justice of Galion, Jody (Chris) Thomas of Mansfield and Tim Justice of Shelby; his nephew, Richard “Ricky” Bragg of Mount Vernon; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday, March 15, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Ben Pletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery.
