LEESBURG, Ga. — Mr. Donald David Ross, 58, of Leesburg, Ga., died Monday, March 21, 2011, at his residence.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Albany, Ga., with Bishop Mitchell B. Koyle officiating. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, Mr. Ross has work at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Ga., for the past 20 years. He served 12 years in the U.S. Navy and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include his wife, Lavon F. Ross of Leesburg, Ga.; a son, Lorin Ray Hart and his wife, Crystal, of Ogden, Utah; three daughters, Lori Hart Martin and her husband, Les, of Leesburg, Ga., Stacie Marie Ross Cremeans and her husband, Chip, of Smithville, Ga., and Christy Jamie Ross Smith of Mount Holly, N.C.; grandchildren, Melissa Koronkiewicz, Leslie Ann Martin, William Martin, Kimberly Hart, Andrew Martin, Alex Smith, Amber Cremeans, Brittney Cremeans, Christopher Smith and Lorin Ray Hart Jr.; great-grandchild, Katy Lynn Webb; a brother, Robert Russell Ross and his wife, Sharon, of Perrysville, Ohio; two sisters, Sandy Wantrand Beckholt and her husband, Larry, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and Connie Ross Dunn and her husband, Michael, of Prospect, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
