MANSFIELD — Steve V. Kotchou, 88, died April 10, 2011.

He was born Sept. 15, 1922, in Grasdeno, Macedonia, to Vasil and Angelina (Petroff) Kotchou. Steve was the manager of Coney Island Restaurant and the Hilltop Restaurant. Steve and wife Eleanor (Gentile) owned the Westway Drive Inn Family Restaurant. Later, they purchased a small farm in Lucas, and raised beef cattle.

Steve is survived by two sons, Mark Kotchou and Thomas Kotchou; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Alex Kotchou; and a sister-in-law, Marlene Kotchou. In addition to his wife and parents, deceased are a daughter, Rebecca Shears; and a brother, Pete Kotchou.

Visitation is Wednesday, noon to 1:45 p.m., in the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in Mansfield Cemetery. Pastor David Sipes officiating.
