BLADENSBURG — James Michael Burch, 20, of Bladensburg, died on Monday, April 11, 2011, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.\n
Michael was born May 17, 1990, in Mount Vernon. He was a 2008 graduate of East Knox High School and was employed by Ariel Corp. Michael was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, deer hunt, and mushroom hunting. He enjoyed his quad runner, “chillin’” with his friends, but most of all spending time with his son, Breidyn.\n
He is survived by his mother, Shelli White Burch (Mathew Lyons) of Bladensburg; father, James Frederick (Roxanna) Burch of Howard; son, Breidyn Lee Burch; sister, Ashley Nicole Burch; stepsister, Mackenzie Ernsberger; stepbrother, Aarin Frazee; niece, Ryleigh Burch; nephew, Brennen Cosner; grandparents, Donna (Frank) Denman of Bladensburg, Bob White of Utica, Mary Jane Burch of Columbus and Jim (Janet) Burch of Howard; great-grandparents, Gaylord (Ethel) Rine of Bladensburg; aunts and uncles, Renee (Glenn) Grogg of Bladensburg, Shawn White (Maria Rager) of Howard, Virgil (Vonda) Burch of Howard, Sarah Suffridge of Kansas; and numerous cousins, family and friends.\n
Friends may call Thursday, April 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bladensburg Church of Christ, where funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will be in Bladensburg Cemetery. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Bladensburg is handling the funeral arrangements for the Burch family.\n
