BUTLER — Frances E. “Frankie” Hitchman, 81, of Butler, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a brief illness.
Frankie was born Sept. 7, 1929, the daughter of Kenneth and Grace (Baker) Wareham. She married Albert L. Hitchman. The two remained lifelong Butler residents and owned Hitchman’s Market in Butler.
Survived by her children, Jerry (Lee Ann) Hitchman and Terry (Tammy) Hitchman; daughter, Jo Dee (Kim) Derr; eight grandchildren; sister, Eleanora “Ellie” Hitchman; and brothers, Hal Wareham and Russell “Buzz” (Joan) Wareham.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Albert L. Hitchman; and daughter, Lora Lin Hitchman.
Funeral service is today, April 23, at 10:30 a.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. Pastors Don Earlenbaugh and Keith McLaughlin will officiate. Burial will follow in Zion Four Corners Cemetery.
