CAMBRIDGE — Dale L. Hose Sr., 83, of Cambridge, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011, following a lenghty illness.
He was born March 20, 1928, in Danville. He retired from Kroger and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Nellie (Taylor) Hose; his loving wife, Joy A. Hose; two sons, Carl Hose, Tommy Hose; daughter, Reba Hose; two brothers, Donald Hose, Duane Hose; two sisters, Creta Hose, Florence Mizer Near.
Survived by one daughter, Debbie (Marvin) Hase; three sons, David (Inez) Hose, Dale L. (Jennie O’Dell) Hose Jr., Greg Hose; two sisters, Reba McKee, Ruth (Norm) Blauser; brother, Daniel (Patsy) Hose; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call today from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home and burial will be in Northwood Cemetery with military graveside rites.
