MANSFIELD — Deric J. Cook, 29, died Saturday, April 30, 2011, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.

Born Feb. 13, 1982, in Mansfield to Ralph and Lisa (Clapper) Cook, he worked as a sub-contractor with Tradesmen International. He traveled with the Ohio Team of Greco Roman Free Style Wrestling, and dabbled in Mixed Martial Arts.

Survived by his mother, Lisa (Tony) Morelli; sister, Heather Turner; father, Ralph (Heidi) Cook; son, Tristen Cook; daughter, Alea Cook; stepbrothers and stepsister; nieces and nephew; his maternal grandmother, Patricia Capper; paternal stepgrandmother, Donna Cook.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, James Clapper, and Dale and Shirley Cook; and great-grandparents.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, Mansfield, where his funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. Chaplain Faith Proietti will officiate. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery.
