FREDERICKTOWN — Laurel June Rosen Sidle, 85, of Fredericktown, died Saturday afternoon, May 14, 2011, in The Laurels of Mount Vernon, following an extended illness.

June was born Aug. 14, 1925, in Loudonville, the daughter of the late Clyde J. and Eula Gay (Starner) Rosen. She had lived in Perrysville for many years before moving to Fredericktown where she lived until she entered The Laurels of Mount Vernon in 2005. June was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fredericktown and the Women’s Circle of the church. She was a 20-year employee of Mansfield Plumbing Products and earlier had worked at the former Sheck’s Nursing Home in Loudonville. On Jan. 11, 1946, she married Richard F. Sidle and he died in 1963.

June is survived by two brothers, Robert (Marcella) Rosen of Loudonville and Leslie (Evelyn) Rosen of Perrysburg; and one sister, Virgina M. Burbate of Midlothian, Ill.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 18, at 11 a.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville, with the Rev. John Fitch officiating. There will be no visitation. The family requests that memorials be given to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693.
