BELLVILLE — Merlyn Jean McClarren, 83, passed away May 25, 2011, in her Bellville home, her husband by her side.

She was born May 10, 1928, in Mansfield, the daughter of Rodney and Jeanette (Robertson) Murray. Merlyn worked for Mansfield Tire & Rubber Co., and retired in 1980 with 34 years of service.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Everett McClarren; sister, Geraldine Geary of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Betty Murray of Bellville; and nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, predeceased are her brother, Billy Murray; and sister, Margaretan Teeter.

The McClarren family will receive friends Friday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Andy Hupp officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.

Contributions to the Jefferson Township-Bellville Rescue Squad may be made at the funeral home.
