SUNBURY — William A. “Bill” Rorabaugh, 68, of Sunbury, died Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Riverside Hospital, Columbus.
He was born Oct. 28, 1942, in Columbus to the late Frank A. and Beatrice (Sexton) Rorabaugh. A U.S. Army veteran and a retired City of Delaware Water Treatment Plant employee. Bill had also worked for the State of Ohio in Vital Statistics. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post No. 710 Marengo.
Survived by his wife of 41 years, Gerda (Stein) Rorabaugh, and they were married Jan. 30, 1970, in Mannheim, Germany; son, Ron Rorabaugh; daughter, Kim (Robert) Keplar; sister, Linda (Jake) Sphar; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by son, Allen Rorabaugh; four brothers; and two sisters.
Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, where services will follow at 4 p.m.
