BELLVILLE — Louise Counts Jackson, 83, of rural Bellville, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, in Country Meadow Care Center.

Born July 22, 1927, in Columbus, Louise began working with F.W. Woolworth Co. as a clerk. She retired as general manager from the Mount Vernon store, serving the retailer nearly 40 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Roger) Ritchie of Tuppers Plains and Aurelia (David) Jones of Austintown; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Larry Jackson, Dale Jackson and Jeff Jackson and their families; and her constant companions, Peanut and Kitty Cat.

Her husband, Russell Lee Jackson, preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 2001. Also deceased are her parents, Robert W. Park and Edna (Bradford) Deem.

Funeral was this morning in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. Burial followed in Bellville Cemetery.
